Since 1982 heroes have never been hard to find! Every June, artists and writers come together in the Queen City to celebrate another year of heroes. From the classic works of Neal Adams to the new of Indie Island, Heroes Con is the southern home for every comic book lover. In the true spirit of the convention, this year’s Heroes Con is dedicated to a hero that didn’t wear a cape, Mr. E.B. “Stump” Drum. Father of founder H. Shelton Drum, “Stump” was a hero to his son and reminds us all to celebrate the everyday heroes that have shaped us and the convention today.
The Heroes Convention is the perfect place to celebrate your hero. The friendly and inexpensive atmosphere of the convention is the best place to get in touch with your love for hero comics. Whether you are a lifelong fan, or you are revisiting your childhood love, Heroes Con is a relaxed, fun place for you to celebrate.
