Charlotte Tax Day Tea Party

Big turnout yesterday at the Tax Day Tea Party in Charlotte. Estimates are around 2,500 in attendance.

Where were these people when the Bush administration was running up record deficits and using tax dollars on the Iraq war?
I guess it’s okay to to use tax dollars on a senseless war but using tax dollars to prevent economic collapse or energy independence is greedy big government.

Haha, I never said anything about taking sides. But a self-organized gathering of 2,500 people in a city our size, for whatever reason, is newsworthy. The fact that so many people are physically riled up about this is definitely worth talking about.
