Where else but the Bible Belt would Christmas celebration be exercised with such flamboyancy? McAdenville to the west might be dubbed Christmastown USA, but look north to Huntersville & Cornelius and you’ll find a true Griswold Mecca.

A house in Macauley Farms, a Huntersville neighborhood known for its fervent celebration.
Someone technically savvy lives in this home and has (for the past couple of years) set up a short-range radio frequency broadcasting holiday music coordinated with the lights that dance across the yard.
Just off of Gilead Road in Huntersville is perhaps the most famous high-voltage holiday home in the area. Cars cruise by all night to view the decorations which transcend mere visuals.
A closer look reveals a deeper set of decor.
Lighting in The Peninsula in Cornelius takes a much classier form, probably due to HOA restrictions.
