Five Ventures winners announced, local Stash Games among them

Five Ventures, presented by the Charlotte Research Institute, is in its ninth year. The competition places local and regional startup companies against each other for $150,000 in cash and in-kind services.

Winners are selected for five categories: life-sciences, information-technology, services & retail, green & energy, and student. This year’s winners:

• life-sciences: TactileMed Inc.
• information-technology: Stash Games
• services & retail: All Sports Endurance
• green & energy: BioRxn
• student: NKind Rewards Network
