Transport Hub Could Bring Thousands Of Jobs, Billions Of Dollars To Charlotte

It’s taken more than a decade, but Charlotte Douglas International Airport seems close to building a transportation hub where companies could quickly transfer cargo between planes, trains and trucks.
The hub would mean new jobs and an influx of money for Charlotte and the surrounding area, creating 5,100 jobs and landing $10 billion for the surrounding 10 counties over the next two decades.
