NoDa fav Center of the Earth Gallery is closing May 31

Well this one is a bummer! I love this Center of the Earth Gallery, especially during the NoDa Gallery Crawls!

The Center of the Earth Gallery will close this month after nearly 24 years of anchoring the North Davidson arts district.

“We are closing because we can, not because we have to,” says Paul Sires, who founded the gallery with his wife Ruth Ava Lyons. “This is a personal decision. This is not an economic decision.”

The gallery will close [Monday] May 31.
